Your pets
enjoyment is our number one concern. At Great Dog we care
about your pets, & our gentle ways help them relax and enjoy
the process. We offer your pet a choice of soft beds or play
sessions between table sittings. Your dog can spend the day
among friends in our daycare & be pampered by our loving
staff. We also try and let our dogs spend as much time
as possible hanging out with friends and avoid "crate time"
as much as possible. You can be secure in knowing that your pet is safe &
happy here in Great Dog's unique environment. Great Dog
Grooming specializes in starting puppies, catering to senior
dog's needs & really listening to our customers' desires.

Our Grooming Staff
Jaki - With five years experience
and a happy-go-lucky love affair with pups of all shapes and
sizes...Jaki embraces our mantra for
enriching our four and two legged clients... She specializes
in Porties, curly coated creatures and little pups. There isn't a
pet in the Emerald City that wouldn't enjoy spending time on Jaki's
grooming table.
Victoria- With over 6 years
experience in both grooming and salon management, Victoria's
precision grooming is enjoyed by our customers -- critters and people
alike! She was even mentioned in City Dog Magazine as
being a favorite groomer in Seattle. Victoria likes to do
all terriers and Standard Poodles. She is very talented at all breed
specific cuts as well. Her calm presence gives your pet
a relaxed feeling.

Prices vary depending on dog's
size, coat condition, temperament as well as breed specific needs.
Please call us for an estimate or
email our concierge. All prices include nails, ear
cleaning and anal expression (if needed). When calling
or emailing, please include dog's breed and age. If a "mix"
please indicate if your pup's coat appears to be more like one breed
than another. For example, an Old English Sheep Dog/Poodle/Pug mix
could look like a lot of different things!
Cat Grooms: Sadly, due to the
nature of grooming cats, we have elected to put a hold on any new
cat clients. As much as we love our purring friends, grooming
them does require a few more hands. In late January 2008, we will
be presenting a new cat grooming program that will allow us take new
cat grooming clients as well as make it an all around better
experience for the kitties. You will also see a price increase
as this directly relates to the staff required to safely handle
kitties during a stressful process for them. We will be
requiring a waiver to groom any cats over the age of 14.
Nail Trimming is
available from 10-4 Monday - Friday, 11-5pm Saturday with no appointment necessary!
If you need an alternative time, please call to make sure we have a
table available.
Hours: Our grooming salon is
open Mondays 9-4, Tues - Fri 9 - 5pm
(pick up by 7pm)
& Sat from 9-5pm. While our retail shoppe is open on Sundays,
our grooming department has the day off!
